OPEN CALL TO PHOTOGRAPHERS FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD

SCAN, the international photography festival organised by Tarragona City Council, has opened the call for entries for Talent Latent, aimed at creators from all over the world who use photography as an essential and preferred means of expression. The projects and artists selected from this call will form part of the Talent Latent Exhibition. It will be held at Tinglado 2 at the Port of Tarragona, from 18 October to 8 December 2024.

Theme of projects: CITIES

Experts predict that by the end of the 21st century, two-thirds of the world’s population will live in large cities and metropolises. The SCAN festival invites artists who use photography as a tool or means of expression to explore the consequences of urban population growth and large cities. The works can examine the issue from a broad variety of perspectives: social, historical, cultural, personal, media, urban planning, ecological, religious, etc.
